ABSRACT

This is a short account of analysis undertaken for a treatise, A banking research towards Nigerian banking system: associate degree analysis of the Nigerian banking system, submitted to the college of Accounting, Finance & political economy city grad school, city playwright University in 2017 for the degree of M.Sc. Accounting. The treatise was geared toward analyzing the impact of presence of feminine board members on the profit of banks in Federal Republic of Nigeria. The study collected secondary data from annual reports and accounts of eleven sampled banks and analyzed the information victimization multivariate analysis. The findings of the study advised that the come on Equity of the banks in Federal Republic of Nigeria aren’t suffering from the quantity of feminine Board Members of the bank, neither will their interest holdings within the banks or their positions on the boards. Therefore, the research worker recommends that existing or past feminine Board members of banks in Federal Republic of Nigeria ought to build their presence impact on the performance of the banks, by encouraging a lot of feminine Board members providing the present variety of ladies within the boards might not be massive enough to create the figures vital.
